Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

I am located in Urbana, OH! Since I bake out of my home, I do not advertise my address. However, once an order has been placed, it will be included in the confirmation email!

How do I place an order?

Simply select and fill out one of the order forms provided on my site! If you would like custom sugar cookies, please fill out a Custom Cookie Form. If you would like to order cupcakes/cakes, pies, cinnamon rolls, etc. please fill out a Baked Goods Form.
To order products from both for the same day, simply fill out each form and I will get back to you within 24 hours to confirm your order!

How far in advance should I place my order?

For a Custom Cookie Order, I typically ask for at least 2 weeks notice. However, sooner is always better as custom order slots fill up very quickly! For Traditional Baked Goods, I ask for 2 days notice, but can make an order happen in as little as 24 hours if needed.

Where can I find photos of your work?

You can see some of my work on my site. For more photos, head to my Facebook or Instagram page!

Do you deliver?

No, I do not deliver at this time.

Do you book for weddings?

My books are currently closed for weddings. When/if I decide to reopen them, a form will be on my site!

Do you ever partner with other businesses?

Yes! If you’re interested in selling Baked By Sarah products or being a designated pick up location for orders, please contact me at order@bakedbysarah937.com with your name and how you’re interested in partnering to begin that process!

How should I store my baked goods?

Most of your baked goods (custom cookies, cinnamon rolls, scones, etc) should be stored on the counter either in their original box, or in an air-tight container! Please do NOT put your custom sugar cookies in the refrigerator as it can cause them to harden and colors to bleed. For cakes, cream pies and quiches- store them in the refrigerator. Remove cakes at least 1 hour before serving!
